Dr. Chromey has been teaching on a wide variety of topics and subjects for nearly 40 years. In college, he launched his speaking career talking about the dangerous influences of rock music, then later moved to creation science, comparative religions, cults, and occult. After graduate school and as a college professor, his speaking and teaching focused more upon the craft of teaching ("Teaching for a Change!" workshops), youth, and children's ministry. After he left the professoriate, his speaking shifted more to generational and cultural analysis, leadership development, and education administration. In 2020, during the pandemic, Rick moved his focus to U.S. history (early America, Founding Fathers) and then, with a new job on American Cruise Lines, added Lewis and Clark and Oregon Trail to his repertoire.

Ultimately, Rick loves to teach the Bible...and history.
